EcoCeres Audio Visual 

Project Profile: EcoCeres Scalable Audio Visual System


Project Objective: To design and implement a high-performance, scalable audio-visual system for EcoCeres' main conference area, capable of functioning as a single large venue or two independent meeting spaces.

 

Project Overview

EcoCeres is a leading pure-play renewable fuel producer and innovator dedicated to decarbonising the world by converting waste into sustainable resources. Incubated by Towngas and backed by major international investors like Bain Capital, the company operates a world-class biorefinery platform.

EcoCeres required a versatile environment to support both large-scale presentations and smaller, concurrent team meetings. First Mode Solutions engineered a flexible digital ecosystem that allows for seamless "room combining" or "splitting" via a centralized control interface. This adaptability ensures maximum utility of the office footprint while maintaining high standards for audio clarity and video distribution.

 

Key Technical Implementations

  • Scalable Room Combining Logic:

    • Implemented a flexible architecture that allows the conference room to function as a unified Large Hall or two separate Breakout Rooms.

    • Audio and video signals are automatically routed based on the selected partition mode (Open vs. Closed).

  • Digital Matrix System:

    • At the core of the installation is a high-bandwidth Digital Matrix Switcher. This enables any source (laptops, wireless displays, dedicated PCs) to be routed to any combination of displays across the two zones with zero-latency switching.

  • Digital Audio Infrastructure:

    • Utilized a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to handle complex echo cancellation and automatic mixing.

    • High-fidelity ceiling speakers are zoned to ensure that audio remains localized when the partition is closed but operates in unison when the rooms are joined.

  • Advanced Wireless Microphone System:

    • Deployed a multi-channel Digital Wireless Microphone System to provide presenters with total mobility.

    • Integrated intelligent charging stations and frequency management to prevent interference between the split rooms.
